Well we are getting closer to the climb and the final preparations are being made. Recently, Erica met with Josh Rubin, her C.H.E.K Practitioner, and both girls met with Paul to finalize their last programs. Tara’s Practitioners were there as well, Josh and Derek (not to be confused with me). We are about 37 days away from leaving for Africa. All the visas are done, clothes are in, and soon, everyone arrives in San Diego for the last few weeks. It has been over a year now that this project has started and I am completely excited to get the show on the road. Tonight, Erica came to my house to do hills on the street in which I live, and this weekend we are headed to Big Bear for a big practice climb. It is absolutely crazy how fast time is flying. This weekend was planned months ago and seemed soooo far away, and here it is. On Monday, a local San Diego television morning show on KUSI will be doing a live story on Erica, Tara and myself as we get ready for this incredible project. The closer it gets, the larger it is getting and I think everyone is excited to see how big we can make it.

About me
We are headed to Africa to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with two challenged athletes. Our goal is to raise awareness for individuals with physical challenges so they can participate and compete in the sports they love with portions of the proceeds to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation. By providing opportunities and resources needed for active lifestyles, CAF enhances these individuals’ self-esteem, independence and quality of life.In January of 2010, we start our journey from Los Angeles International Airport and head towards Tanzania, and we would like to invite all of you to follow along!
